Thursday was spent making the trip from Denver to Boise (840 miles) to arrive at my parent's home. It was a long day but there wasn't too much traffic and we got in before it got dark. We did stop along the way at Twin Falls to see the Snake River and the beautiful gorge formed over the years. Just for future reference and so you know I'm actually here, you can see me at the overlook.

Here then is a picture of the river looking down into the gorge. This is the area where those of you who are old enough to remember Evil Knievel will recognize this as the place he "tried" to jump over the river in a rocket car.
