Yesterday was an uneventful trip as we stopped just west of St. Louis in St. Peters. I thought about stopping to take a picture of the Mississippi River as we crossed yesterday but really there isn't a lot to see. If you have never been this far west think of the St. Joe River and just make it really wide, probably between a 1/3 to a 1/2 mile at this point.
Last night as we were relaxing in the hotel's hot tub we met a gentleman and his children who were from the St Louis area. In talking about things we found out that he works for the UHL and is in Fort Wayne on a regular basis because of the Komets. It is a small world after all isn't it? It will be interesting to see how far away we can get and not find mutual connections with people.
